THE PAST

J. E. Sharber Oil Company was founded in 1953 by Mr. James E. (“Mr. Joe”) Sharber.  Mr. Joe built the company on fundamental principals of providing excellence in customer service and “getting the job done”.  Mr. Joe started with one truck and built the company one customer at a time by delivering the fuel himself and handling all the day to day duties.  Jerry Sharber joined his Dad after College and together began to grow the company in various areas across Southwest Georgia.  Mr. Joe and Jerry worked diligently from sunrise to sunset in growing one of the most respected companies you will find.  Hard work, excellent service, fair pricing while keeping things “simple” turned J. E. Sharber Oil Company into a leader in the fuel providing market of Southwest Georgia.

PRESENT DAY

Triple T Oil Company, LLC purchased J. E. Sharber Oil Company from Mr. Joe and Jerry Sharber in May of 2008.  The company continues to operate under the same name – J. E. Sharber Oil Company and the same founding principals that have made Sharber Oil Company a leader in the industry.  Today, Sharber Oil Company has diversified into the Bulk Oil business and has expanded its fuel sales into Florida.  A parts warehouse is now open and supplies a complete line of fuel and oil related products.

FUTURE PLANS

Sharber Oil Company is currently growing one step and one day at a time maintaining the founding principals.  Excellence in customer service while maintaining competitive pricing will continue to drive Sharber Oil Company.  An increased storage capacity at our Bulk Plant is currently underway that will benefit our customers with product availability and low pricing.  Sharber Oil Company will diligently research ways to add to our customer’s bottom line in all areas of operation.
